Molly Moore has put her own spin on R&B and soul in this silky electro-pop track I Love You But I Don’t Like You. The scene is set with a steady pulse that instantly feels other worldly, floating electric piano playing simple chords that have a bassline that is travelling down. There is a firery element to her tone from the get go when her beautiful vocals take over, opening with ‘oops I got your blood on my hands’.
Moore has completely mastered the feeling of pure escapism with I Love You But I Don’t Like You. The pulse throughout the song feels like you’re being pulled into the song itself. This song has so many cinematic aspects about it, from the production right down to how each lyric is sung. This song could easily be the soundtrack to a Killing Eve episode.

The atmosphere throughout this song has a Billie Eilish-equeambience to it. Her creepily-sassy lyrics give you the impression that they were carefully chosen to set this sort of mood, and it works so incredibly well. Her vocals are just perfect, this song was carved out for her vocals only.
Good luck trying not to jam out to this BIG chorus. The production in this song is continuously intriguing, with new synth melodies gliding through the mix. Molly’s voice effortlessly sweeps in and out of her falsetto, with her warm tone is a brilliant contrast with the distorted, crispy synths, they work so well together. Her lower register during the second half of the chorus adds such a flavour to the song that makes the track so much more exciting.
I Love You But I Don’t Like You is short and very, very sweet.
