Words By Tilly Louise

Isaac Dunbar is an American indie pop singer songwriter and producer. Producing his songs and his up and coming EP from his laptop in his bedroom. Isaac is an extremely gifted person who’s style, presence and talent could stand alone being incredible but his incredible production skills make the songs all the more amazing and he is only 15!

His new single Woman On The Hills is a very well crafted alternative/indie pop song. On the first listen of this track, I felt like it was a very picture-esque song. It’s a bit mad for a song to be picture-esque but I really feel Isaac get’s the feel across so incredibly well with this song. The production of the track creates an atmosphere of uneasiness and then his sickly sweet vocals placed stragetically on top with his careful lyricism and melodies help make this a perfect track!

Billie Eilish and Troye Sivan’s love child leaves you with Isaac Dunbar, lovely, lovely Isaac Dunbar!

His soulful tone to his vocals add this extra layer of character and feel to this already clean chilled pop feel, you can really hear his influencers in this song especially Billie Eilish and Troye Sivan. Then The Riff™ into this massive pool of art, synths and melodies gliding around the mix leaving space for Isaac’s beautiful vocals to shine through. It’s so impressive that someone so young has such a mature sound to his voice.

The whole track builds into this lush chorus that you wish didn’t end, using all of the motifs Isaac used throughout the song to really make it a special last chorus and then ends with ‘don’t turn your back’. The listener will never turn their back. They want to hear more!!!

Billie Eilish and Troye Sivan’s love child leaves you with Isaac Dunbar, lovely, lovely Isaac Dunbar!
